The City is offering volunteer opportunities to beautify the park with new landscaping, and there will be free hotdogs and ice cream while supplies last. There will also be a Green Expo at the park featuring environmental programs.

Green Scene Plant and Garden Show  •  Apr. 21 – 22 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm  •

The perfect place for any gardener looking for new ideas to improve their gardens or outdoor habitats. This is the only major outdoor sales event in Orange County focused exclusively on the home gardener, garden accessories, environmental education programs and products.

La Palma Arbor Day Celebration  •  Apr. 24 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm  •

La Palma will be celebrating by planting a tree! In addition, there will be crafts, presentation of the art and coloring contest winners and of course the planting of a new trees.

Newport Beach Film Festival  •  Apr. 26 – May 3 •

Committed to enlightening the public with a first-class international film program as well as providing a forum for cultural understanding and enriching educational opportunities, the Festival focuses on showcasing a diverse collection of both studio and independent films.

Doheny Wood  •  Apr. 27 – 29 •

Show is free to woodie owners and spectators. The state beach does have a park entry fee. Over 150 classic wooden cars, surf wagons will be on display. The event has a large raffle including many woodie and surf related items.

Pet Expo  •  Apr. 27 – 29 •

Over 1,000 animals will entertain you in stage shows, competitions and demonstrations including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, goats, pigs, llamas, rabbits, miniature horses and more. There will also be pet adoptions, products for sale, petting zoo, how-to workshops and advice from experts. Presented by a nonprofit organization to promote responsible pet care.

Love Brea  •  Apr. 28 •

Love Brea is a great opportunity to serve the city of Brea and join a movement that is spreading across California. In the past two years we have had over a thousand volunteers doing 35 service projects around the community with a city-wide celebration at the end!

A city-wide day of service to help those in need and improve our city. Will focus on a specific neighborhood in the city.

Seal Beach Classic Car Show  •  Apr. 28  •

Each year Main Street in Seal Beach closes down to welcome over 25,000 visitors, 550 cars, attractions and businesses come together with the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce and the City of Seal Beach to produce one of Southern California’s most memorable automotive events.

Arts Alive Festival  •  Apr. 28 – 29 •

With a “Plein Air Landscape” theme, this year’s festival will feature arts and crafts, musical performances as well as amazing street paintings brought to life by incredible artists. Tasty fare and beverages along with creative activities for all ages. Hands-on workshops and demonstrations will be featured at the new Potocki Center for the Arts.

Taste of Huntington Beach  •  Apr. 29 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm  •

Featuring delectable tastes from local restaurants and catering companies. Add in unlimited sips from your favorite wineries and breweries, along with live entertainment from for your listening and dancing enjoyment. Proceeds benefit the children’s wing of the Huntington Beach Library.

Chipping in for Kids Golf Tournament  •  Apr. 30 •

The tournament features a day of exciting competition that includes a helicopter golf ball drop, putting, long drive and closest to the pin contests, mulligans, raffles, a live and silent auction and an awards dinner.
